The mantle of her ample hair
outlines and protects from high
her slender shape extending

her pure forehead gleams
against prayer-like rocks

shows off her breast her hills
her feet sun-clothed

she revels in orchards and sweet smells
precious city-garments
framed up into ancient stones

by craftsmen of beauty
adorn such a noble woman
jewels amidst domes and towers

valiant people offered themselves
fighting and thinking bravely
they united her office her ideals

through their letters she created a language
whose words spell the sublime
and fraternize distant dialects
